Daily All Jazz Radio Blog – Wednesday 27th August, 2014

Mother nature has once again vented her fury on our beautiful city, Cape Town, remember to pay it forward by doing a random act of kindness today and in fact why not do it everyday, eh!

Today I speak to Nicky Schrire in London where she now resides. We haven’t spoken to her since her move from New York, so we’ll find out how she has acclimatised to the transition and also find out what she’s up to. That’s during todays Jazz Rendezvous at around 11am CAT. It being Wednesday it’s The Latin Perspective today with genial host Tony Vasquez from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, Afro Cuban Latin sounds for an hour fron1pm CAT, then Ndoxy Ndodana Hadebe then gets behind the mic to present his varied and interesting program, The Midweek Music Melange. After that I’ve compiled The Sundown Show with a contemporary smooth jazz note to wind down the day. Join us today on All Jazz Radio for an unforgettable music experience streaming from the African Capital of Jazz, my favourite city in the World, Cape Town, and yeas I am most definitely biased J, can’t blame me neh!

Still don’t know what the Klutz in the Kitchen is up to and I’m kicking his butt to find that simple, quick and easy recipe to publish on the AJR website, watch this space.

Thanks to all who have Liked our Facebook page, Followed us in the Twittersphere at @AllJazzRadioSA, Joined our All Jazz Radio Facebook Group, subscribed to our website at www.alljazzradio.co.za but please we’d like to ask that you use all the pull that you have to encourage your friends, family and acquaintances to follow your lead and do the same.

Please don’t forget to click on the Standard Banks Joy of Jazz banner on each page of the AJR Website today.

I must add finally, that I’m looking forward to Kyle Shepherds album launch this Friday night at UCT and the open day on the COPA Campus, I hope to see as many Capetonians at both events.

Have a great day
