Tom “The Jazzman” Mallison R.I.P.

Tom “The Jazzman” Mallison, a popular Public Radio East personality who hosted a weekly jazz show, was killed Sunday night in a two-vehicle, head-on crash on N.C. 43 in north-western Craven County.

Friends say Mallison, who lived in Greenville, was headed home from PRE’s New Bern studios when the wreck occurred.

They believe Mallison was driving a Volvo. The other vehicle in the wreck has been identified as a Dodge pickup truck.

September is also Piano Month, one on my personal fav’s bur ever so sorry that I didn’t pay any attention to my music teachers at school, too many other extra curricular activities’, know what I mean, nudge, nudge, wink, wink, Cricket, Girls, Rugby, Girls, Tennis, Girls, Swimming, Girls, High Board Diving, Girls, when was there time to practice the piano, eh!
