Winds Of Samsara

The brand album by internationally acclaimed globe trotting South Africa Flautist, Wouter Kelleman and Indian keyboard wizard Ricky Kej. The album Winds Of Samsara was released worldwide yesterday. It’s been a two year long labour of love for Wouter who has worked with Indian composer and producer Ricky Kej on this epic project, involving more than a hundred musicians from all over the world. Winds Of Samsara speaks to themes of peace and positivity, spinning together forward–moving harmony with a verve and passion never before attempted in the New Age genre. It’s Mandela Day tomorrow, what are you going to do with your 67 minutes? Make a difference and do your bit.

“What counts in life is not the mere fact that we have lived. It is what difference we have made to the lives of others that will determine the significance of the life we lead” – Nelson Mandela

Mandela Day media_800_730_70_sNelson Mandela International Day was launched in recognition of Nelson Mandela’s birthday on 18 July 2009 via unanimous decision of the UN General Assembly. It was inspired by a call Nelson Mandela made a year earlier, for the next generation to take on the burden of leadership in addressing the world’s social injustices when he said that “it is in your hands now”. It is more than a celebration of Madiba’s life and legacy. It is a global movement to honour his life’s work and act to change the world for the better. For more info go to http://www.mandeladay.com/
